Never been in Golfo Aranci?
The port of Golfo Aranci is one of the busiest ports on the island; thanks to the particular geographical exposure (it is the closest to the peninsula) the ships of the Sardinia Ferries dock for connections with Livorno (by direct journey, without a stopover) and with Savona, Toulon and Nice.

Interesting places to visit include the rocky promontory of Capo Figari which, 344 meters high and with about 200 meters of rock overlooking the sea, can be visited not only from the sea passing through the coast of Cala Greca, but also from the land passing by the Cala Moresca beach; furthermore the island of Tavolara, Molara, Capo Coda Cavallo the island of Figarolo and Cala Moresca. The beaches of the municipality renowned for the cleanliness of the sea and the white beaches that form a cove after a cove until arriving in Olbia are not far behind. To the north, immediately after rounding Capo Figari, you reach the Gulf of Congianus, the heart of the Costa Smeralda, and all the famous emerald towns.

Towards Porto Rotondo there is the beach of Marinella, a kilometer of gentle slopes of soft sand, smooth rocks and emerald sea. Around Capo Figari, here are the beaches of fine and golden sand of Cala Moresca, the protected reserve of Cala Greca, pink pebble beach hidden by cliffs, the delightful Cala del Sonno, where the fishermen took refuge, and Cala Sabina, beach from the Caribbean appearance, reachable by the railway that runs along the promontory. Set in the depths off the third beach, there is the MuMart, a museum of contemporary submerged art, which can also be visited by snorkeling. The show is completed by the Mizar submarine, from which you will admire an “open sea” aquarium. Golfo Aranci hosts the International Dolphin Research Center, which will delight you with stunts.
